Dear Mrs. Thatcher,

Thank you so much for all you did for the world. Of course your beloved country, Great Britain was the chief beneficiary of your hard work, but the entire world had Margaret Thatchera lesson in freedom during your tenure as Prime Minister.

The whole world seemed to be drifting towards socialism, but you showed us that when people are willing to put the needs of others before their own selfish wants that all of society benefits. The Free Market works as people make their own choices, but those choices are always within what is best for everyone.

When the State decides that it knows best and tries to force its own social or political agenda on the people it always makes a shambles out of everything. This has been proven without a doubt in Russia, China, and Eastern Europe. It nearly ruined Britain but you reversed all of that, raising the standard of Britain abroad.

Thank you, Mrs. Thatcher for being courageous enough to stop the socialist trend in your country and prove to the world that a Free Market works.

But one of the most important things that you believed and tried to teach others is that material prosperity is not an end of its own. For people to be free and happy they must be a moral people. In a speech to the Zurich Economic Society in 1977 you said,

The main issues are moral. … The economic success of the Western world is a product of its moral philosophy and practice. The economic results are better because the moral philosophy is superior. It is superior because it starts with the individual, with his uniqueness, his responsibility, and his capacity to choose. Surely this is infinitely preferable to the Socialist-statist philosophy which sets up a centralized economic system to which the individual must conform, which subjugates him, directs him and denies him the right to free choice.

And to the Greater London Young Conservatives you emphasized,

Choice in a free society implies responsibility on the part of the individual. There is no hard and fast line between economic and other forms of personal responsibility to self, family, firm, community, nation, God. Morality lies in choosing between feasible alternatives. A moral being is one who exercises his own judgment in choice, on matters great and small, bearing in mind their moral dimension, i.e. right and wrong. Insofar as his right and duty to choose is taken away by the state, the party or the union, his moral faculties, i.e. his capacity for choice, atrophy, and he becomes a moral cripple in the same way as we should lose the faculty of walking, reading, seeing, if we were prevented from using them over the year.

… The Socialists would take away most or all of these choices. A man would do what he was told by the state and his union, work where work was ‘found’ for him at the rate fixed and degree of effort permitted. He would send his children to school where the education authority decided what the children are taught and the way they are taught, irrespective of his views, he would live in the housing provided, take what he could get, give what he was obliged to give.

This doesn’t produce a responsible or a moral society.

This does not produce a classless society; on the contrary it produces the most stratified of all societies, divided into two classes: the powerful and the powerless; the party-bureaucratic elite and the manipulated masses.

And are these rulers better fitted to make choice on our behalf or to dispose of resources?

As the United States drifts into socialism with its government-mandated health care system I wish that our government would learn a lesson from you. You believed that the people could refuse socialism if given the chance. Your goal of restoring personal responsibility, self-reliance, and self-confidence to the people of Britain was achieved in a large part because of your own integrity. You held on firmly to what was right even in the face of adversity. You were the most courageous leader in the Western world in the last generation.

You knew that massive unemployment would occur when you took steps to end inflation. Someone had to take steps to apply the strong medicine to cure the sickness of inflation due to bad monetary policy and socialism. You were willing to accept the hateful things that people said because you knew you were right and things would work out the way they were supposed to once the people pressed on during the inevitable suffering while the remedy was applied. We all wish we didn’t have to “pay the piper” but there was no alternative and indeed you were proven right.

Here in the United States no president has been willing to take the steps to reverse a bad monetary policy like you did. Our government keeps on printing money. Eventually the whole economy will come crashing down but each president hopes it will be during the next president’s administration. None of these men has had the courage that you had. As time goes on it will get worse and worse but our cowardly president won’t risk losing his popularity. The men who have ruled in our country have been very short sighted and selfish. But you, Mrs. Thatcher loved your people more than yourself. You did the right thing as a wise parent allows her child to learn the hard way occasionally.

I really admire the way you handled the unions in your country. The things they were doing were grossly unfair. Time has shown that the Communists were BBC news Thatcherhoping to take over your government through the power of the unions. Though the huge Labour Party was against you, and even some frightened Conservatives tried to urge you otherwise, you took steps to curb union power.

One could wish that the leaders in our government had the backbone that you had. You stood up to the men with dignity and did not back down even when they said horrible, untrue things about you in public. They accused you of disrupting “peaceful picketing”, but in fact what was happening was mob violence and intimidation. You did not flinch when confronted with their bald faced lies.

Arthur Scargill, a committed Marxist, thought he would bring Britain to its knees with the coal strike. He used methods that should have been illegal, such as bringing in groups of “strikers” who were not the coal workers at the mines. You also knew that the union leaders were not permitting secret ballots so that those who did not want to strike could not say what they really thought without threats to themselves or families. The cowardly Conservative Party and the Labour Party governments capitulated to Scargill’s demands. You refused. 5000 strikers battled 5000 police at the Battle of Orgreave and there were over 100 casualties as the police forced the end to the strike.

You knew that this fight in particular was a fight for the soul of your country. You remained firm. Thanks to your courage and integrity, a large group of people formed their own unions with freedom for their workers. The Scargill, destructive type of union was ended. New fair laws were passed. A new era began in Britain thanks to you.

America has lost a great friend. As you look down on us from Heaven I wonder what you must think now. True, the Berlin Wall fell and Communism does not seem as big of a threat. We have Iron-Ladyother threats now. I wish that you were here to talk to our leaders. Can you figure out a way to bottle some of your courage and give some to our president?

Are you proud of Prime Minister Julia Gillard of Australia who seems to have taken a page out of your book by not refusing to give in the Muslim extremists? Perhaps she could be your spokesperson here on earth and show our cowardly leaders how a government should be run.

Mrs. Thatcher, you achieved greater things than any other woman in history. You deserve to be remembered as one of the world’s great leaders – the tough but loveable “Iron Lady”. I thank God that you were willing to serve so courageously. The world has lost a true champion of freedom.

“Margaret Thatcher was one of the most vigorous, determined, and successful enemies of socialism the world has known.” *

Only those of us over fifty remember that socialism, communism, and doctrinal Marxism dominated nearly two-thirds of the world in 1970’s. I remember going by the office of one of the sociology professors at my college in Minnesota in 1970 and being shocked by the framed centerpiece on her message board. It was a portrait of Vladimir Lenin and below his picture the professor had posted “My Hero”. This was typical of the higher education system here and in Europe. Even after politicians recognized the failure of socialism, leftist ideologues have tried to keep Marxism alive.

When Margaret Thatcher took over the reins of government the Berlin Wall had not yet Margaret Thatcher fallen. It seemed that the whole world was only going in one direction – socialism. “Capitalism” was, and still is in many places, a dirty word. Margaret Thatcher took on the challenge of reversing was seemed to be an inevitable slide into socialism in Britain.

Margaret Thatcher is also worthy of a place in history as a woman – a woman who achieved great things that no other woman has ever achieved before.

Where did this amazing woman come from? Perhaps part of her rise to prominence was due to her humble beginnings. We often think of those who reach the highest positions of power in Britain as being members of the upper classes. But Margaret Thatcher was born in a not very well known little city to lower-middle class, hardworking parents.

Margaret Hilda Roberts was born in 1925 in Grantham, Lincolnshire above her father’s grocery store. Alfred Roberts was a lay Methodist preacher. He also served as a town alderman and city mayor, so Margaret was not only exposed to the Bible but also to politics. Margaret’s own speaking career actually began in church when she read from the pulpit as a child.

She helped out in the grocery store where she learned to be frugal and thrifty. These characteristics along with the industriousness and sincerity of her Methodist upbringing informed her economic policy in her later years.

At the local grammar school Margaret was known as a hardworking and very disciplined student. She earned a place at Somerville College at Oxford University. Only a few colleges admitted women then; Somerville was an all-woman’s college.

Margaret became president of the university’s Conservative Association. She achieved this position through her hard work and respect from her peers even though most of them were male.

She had no use for “Women’s Lib”. It has always been a well-known fact that the more loud and obnoxious a woman is, especially if she is always pulling out the “gender card”, that she is trying to make up for less than stellar intelligence or giftedness. While feminists were screaming for their rights, Margaret was calmly going about her business rising above it all and earning her place in history based on her own hard work and achievements.

thatcher-chemistAfter Margaret graduated from Oxford, having taken a Second Class degree in chemistry, she took a job at a plastics factory in Essex. She immersed herself in politics, running for a seat in Parliament twice, in 1950 and 1951, not succeeding either time. She did not expect to win against the entrenched Labour candidate. It was just typical politics in Britain; but she gained notoriety with her vigorous and energetic campaigning.

During her second campaign she met and became engaged to Denis Thatcher, who was heir to a successful chemicals business. It is true that Denis’ money helped Margaret to campaign and to succeed as much as she did; but theirs was truly a love match. Denis was utterly devoted to Margaret and supported her to the end of their lives.

In 1959 Margaret won a seat in the House of Commons. She was the youngest woman in the House. In 1961 she became the under-secretary for pensions and national insurance.

When the Tories were ousted in 1964, Margaret spent six years as an opposition party member. She built a reputation for diligence and a remarkable memory for statistics. No one as yet recognized her for the leader that she would become.

During the 1970’s the government’s responses to strikes were very weak. Unemployment was high. Labor disputes led to the ousting of the Conservatives under Edward Heath. The Labour Party took power under Harold Wilson and the way was paved for Margaret Thatcher. While this party was in power Britain came very close to becoming an all-out socialist country. The unions, some of which were run by open Communists, were running the country.

Britain became the laughing stock of Europe with a weak economy. Having fallen from the huge empire that they once were, they were now the second poorest country in Europe. Socialist policies were clearly not working.

The people were tired of “garbage and dead bodies in the streets”. They voted the Conservatives back in power in 1979 with Margaret Thatcher as the leader. They were hoping for a change.

At the age of fifty-three, Margaret Thatcher became the first woman elected as Prime Minister in the history of Britain.

In her early years as Prime Minister, Margaret made some mistakes. She was not popular as she struggled to correct the problems that she inherited, but she always sought to do what was right no matter how many people opposed her.

Her father had taught her not to go along with the herd if the herd was wrong. Margaret was strong enough to withstand the pressure from the opposition when she knew she was right.

Margaret took on the unions when the previous male leaders backed down to them. She appeared to be insecure at times but it was only because of her sex and her middle-class upbringing. These things made her cautious. But when she knew she was right, as when she opposed the openly Communist leader of the miners, there was no hesitation or backing down.

Being a grocer’s daughter allowed Margaret to pursue an anti-socialist agenda in a way that aristocrats could not. Socialists had a way of making aristocrats feel guilty. They could not play that card on Margaret.

Margaret turned things around for the British. She turned their flagging economy into one of the strongest in Europe. She returned dignity to the people by deregulating many industries and letting the people run the businesses themselves.

Margaret showed the world that a country could be turned around. She helped to change Great Britain and the world for the better. (In part 2 of this story there will be more detail of what she did, how she did it, and why it is significant.)

By 1990, the European countries were trying to form a union. The story of Margaret’s position on this is complicated, but she did not believe that becoming part of the union was best for Britain. The new European economic unit would have ruined the pound and Britain’s monetary policy. Unfortunately, many other influential governmental leaders were in favor of Britain’s cooperation with the union. Margaret tendered her resignation to the Queen on November 28, 1990.

Britain is well off today thanks to Margaret Thatcher. Of course, they have a new menace in the form of the Muslim threat that exists all over the world. It would be interesting to know how Margaret would handle it if she were here. I am sure she would handle it with more backbone than the current leaders. Margaret was able to discern the forces in history and master them. We will need to learn how to do this if we are to survive. And I pray that God would give us a leader with as much courage as Margaret Thatcher.

We must work the works of Him who sent Me as long as it is day; night is coming when no one can work (John 9:4).

It took us many decades to get to the place where the argument over abortion is not 27 week old babywhether or not the unborn baby is a human being, but when and under what circumstances you get to kill it.

A look at the political scene in our country is enough to cause anyone who loves the Lord to despair. Those in power are forcing their ungodly ways on Christians. We used to be a Christian nation in the sense that no one questioned God or the Bible or the sanctity of life. I’m old enough to remember a time like that. Now those things are all “politically incorrect”.

I cannot remain silent while there is still hope. We are quickly getting to the place where we will not be able to speak out without being arrested. My sisters and brothers, I beg you to stop whatever else you are doing and pray. Then, get involved in whatever organization you can to help stop the holocaust against unborn babies. What is being done to helpless babies is just a symptom of the whole problem. As a nation we have deserted God. We must turn back to righteousness.

Before you say you have given up in despair, consider that others are working very hard and some gains are being made to protect the unborn. If enough people join them we may have a chance to roll back the evil that is being done.

Marjorie Dannenfelser has done a heroic job as president of the Susan B. Anthony List. She needs our support. Go to the SBA website and donate some money. You can also see what currently proposed legislation needs your action. Pray for Lila Rose and her colleagues in Live Action News as they go undercover to film stories about what is really happening in abortion clinics.

Join your local pro-life group. They will keep you informed as to what is going on in your state. If you are blessed enough to live in a state like Texas with pro-life leaders, support them. They can’t do the job alone.

WendyDavisBabyBooties-240x360Do your best to defeat legislators like Wendy Davis who advocates barbaric late-term abortion. Texas women can abort a healthy baby up to the 26th week of pregnancy for any reason under the current law. Ms. Davis is considered a hero by her abortion friends for blocking a law that would protect healthy babies from what is nothing less than murder. A 26 week-old baby can survive outside of the womb. What is the difference between killing the child inside the womb or out? Thankfully, Governor Rick Perry will call another legislative session to get the bill restricting abortion passed.

Even if we leave God out of the discussion, most people (80% according to a January Gallup poll) think that abortion should be illegal in the third trimester. 64% say they disagree with abortion in the second trimester. In many European countries you can’t get an abortion past 12 weeks except in exceptional circumstances. Ms. Davis along  with Obama, Pelosi, Cecile Richards and other abortion “rights” advocates would make America the most barbaric country in the world.

Read and support (LifeSiteNews.com). There you will be able to keep up with state and national legislation as well as many other articles about the sanctity of life.

There is a beautiful story at LifeSiteNews with photographs of a baby, Walter, born at walter, 19 weeksnineteen weeks gestation. The family has shared the photos of the baby and wishes others to pass them on. Mother, Lexi Fretz encourages, “Please feel free to share our photos. In all our hurt, I am glad that some good can come out of this. I pray that the Lord will continue to use Walter’s photos to impact many.”

A picture is worth a thousand words, so share photos especially with women you know that are contemplating abortion.

It is not enough to just talk about the seriousness of killing babies. We must help women who find themselves in a tough situation. The answer to their problem is not to do away with the baby. The baby did not choose to be conceived. The mother and father made the mistake; the baby should not pay for their sin with his/her life. Find out where the adoption organizations are in your state and inform yourself as to what the options are that they offer. Churches used to have homes for unwed mothers. How many women would choose to carry their babies if they only had some help?

If you are brave enough join Operation Rescue or other groups that peacefully protest outside of abortion clinics. Pray for the women who go inside, but also pray for the women and men who work in the abortion clinics. Many women, like Abby Johnson (see my March 14, 2012 post), have had enough of the barbarism and left abortion clinics. Pray that God will open the eyes of others and that soon there will be no one left who wants to kill babies.

We are in a war. The church has been asleep for far too long. The opposition knows that they can win the fight while we sleep. WAKE UP! GET BUSY! We don’t have to let the forces of evil completely rule in our country. We can’t afford to while away every night in front of the television anymore. If every Christian would even spend one night a week doing something – anything – we could restore justice in this land for the unborn.

Let us work for the night is coming. One by one laws are being passed that are targeting Christianity. Don’t fall for the lie about “separation of church and state”. The opposition pushes that to keep Christians silent. They are passing their laws while we’re expected to sit around and be “tolerant”. They are not tolerant. Just witness the behavior at the Texas Capitol this week.

Therefore, let everyone who is godly pray to You in a time when You may be found (Psalm 32:6).

There are some mighty courageous women in our country who are putting all of their energy into saving the most vulnerable of women – the unborn. We need to pray for these women as they do battle in a political climate that seems to favor doing away with unborn babies. Who would have thought one hundred years ago that the women who think it is all right to murder their own offspring would have the political clout, including the ear of the president of the United States, to make laws ensuring that they continue to have the “right” to kill their unborn babies?

How can murder be legalized? This situation is so unreal it feels more like the Twilight Zone than reality.

Into this insanity have stepped three really remarkable women who are trying to do something about reversing the holocaust against the unborn. We should pray for these women every day as they face attacks from Planned Parenthood and other baby killers. There are also thousands of sidewalk counselors and volunteers who face threats from the public, clinic workers, and now even the IRS. Let us pray for them and also remember to pray for the victims of rape or incest as they make the brave decision to keep their babies rather than succumb to the pressure to do away with them.

1.  Lila Rose – Lila needs our prayers as she fearlessly tells the truth. lila roseUnderstandably, Planned Parenthood hates her with a passion. Go to (LiveActionNews.org) and see how time after time the abortionists have been caught lying on camera. Evil hates good; liars hate truth-tellers. Planned Parenthood does not want the truth exposed; they hate Lila Rose. They want to tell you they are all about health care (not the baby’s of course). They want to say that abortion is only a tiny part of what they do. Thanks to Lila and Live Action the truth is coming out. Live Action goes in with undercover cameras and lets the Planned Parenthood employees reveal the truth in their own words. Though PP never talks about abortion in public, when a woman goes to the clinic that is the main option she will be offered. As the war between women heats up, pray for General Lila.

2.  Marjorie Dannenfelser – General Marjorie is fighting the battle on the marjorie dannenfelserpolitical front. While Lila is busy exposing the Planned Parenthood groups for the frauds that they are, Marjorie is battling to get people put into office who can help change the laws that are allowing the baby killing to go on. As head of the Susan B. Anthony List, she has also targeted elected officials who have voted for public funding of abortion such as former congressman Driehaus. Driehaus was so sure of his pro-death friends that he was shocked that he could lose an election. He tried to sue SBA, but he failed because the Susan B. Anthony organization was only telling the truth. Marjorie needs our prayers as she tirelessly fights for the babies.

3.  Abby Johnson – You can read more about Abby in my March 2012 posting on her. Abby is a former Planned Parenthood clinic operator who became pro-life. abbyjohnsonShe has worked every day since then to expose the lies and illegal actions of PP. For example, Planned Parenthood clinics were billing for procedures that they never did. In Washington State alone, Planned Parenthood defrauded the taxpayers in upwards of $99 million in waste or possible fraud, including the illegal taxpayer funding of abortion and abortion-related procedures. Overbilling was rampant according to audits launched by officials in pro-abortion states according to the Alliance Defending Freedom group who filed a suit against Planned Parenthood.

No one else questions this sacrosanct organization but Abby does. Planned Parenthood took her to court to try and silence her. Thank God, Abby is not silent. Pray for her and read her book – “unPlanned”. You will get great insights into the horror of abortion and the real terrorism of Planned Parenthood. Planned Parenthood is not about women’s health. They talk about mammograms, but they do not have one single machine in any of their clinics. In fact, their clinic workers have very little working knowledge of them. They don’t need to know anything about women’s health really since 91% of the pregnant women who go to a PP clinic will have an abortion. Abortion is what Planned Parenthood is about. It’s how they make a great deal of their profits. In a January 2013 article (LifeSiteNews.com) reports, “For decades now, Planned Parenthood has operated the most proficient killing machine in the United States,” said Douglas R. Scott, Jr., president of LDI, in a press release. “And the machine has set yet another record.”

The report notes that in 2011-2012 PPFA “slaughtered a record 333,964 preborn children, generating an estimated $150 million,” and that overall nearly $1.2 billion in revenue was generated.

“PPFA’s income included a hefty and ever-increasing check from American taxpayers. In 2009-2010, government funding reached a whopping $487.4 million. In 2010-2011 the figure jumped to $538.5 million. The total for 2011-2012 reached a staggering $542.4 million, which represents 45.2 percent of the group’s total annual budget,” the report states.

Scott said PPFA’s greatest ally has always been public ignorance of its agenda and activities.”

Yes, Planned Parenthood is counting on you to believe their lies, but whistleblowers like Abby Johnson are exposing them. Pray for Abby as she marches into the fray head on.

4. Pray for Crisis Pregnancy Centers and all of their workers. Thank God for the new technology of ultrasound machines. Women are seeing live pictures of their unborn babies in their wombs. The number of pregnant women who choose to let their babies live is increasing due to the fact that they can see their babies. Planned Parenthood has tried (and succeeded in the state of Oregon) to get laws crisis-pregnancy-centerpassed that force restrictions on Crisis Pregnancy Centers. Pray for the centers in your state and send them some money!

Here is another of the lies of PP exposed. They say they offer choice. But they don’t. 91% of the women “choose” abortion. It’s the main, if not only, option offered. In Oregon, Crisis Pregnancy Centers now have to post signs saying they don’t do abortions. The Crisis Pregnancy Centers offer help and let the woman choose what to do. No, they won’t do abortions but they pray for the women who choose to go somewhere else. If they have to post a sign, then I think it would be fair for the Planned Parenthood clinics to have to post one too saying, “We kill babies here.”

5.  Please pray for the victims of rape. They are under intense pressure to abort their babies. It is well known that many people who are normally against abortion make an exception for rape or incest. They don’t understand why a woman might want to keep a baby conceived with a wicked man. But in actuality, 70% of rape victims choose to keep their babies. Loving support and healthy, nonjudgmental attitudes from family and friends reduces what otherwise might seem a burden. It is not the woman’s fault; it is not the baby’s fault either and the baby should not pay the penalty. These women are committing truly selfless acts. They deserve our support.

The trial of the “House of Horrors” abortionist Kermit Gosnell is putting the war on unborn women in a bad light. We are sorry such horrible things have happened. Now, let us pray that the truth will continue to be exposed. Pray very hard for the women who are in the forefront of the fight. And please, support their work by spreading their stories and with generous donations.

There are many threats to our freedoms today. Christians have lost their First Amendment rights in the public square. All American citizens have lost their Fourth Amendment rights at airports. Individual States are trying really hard to get the federal government to honor the Ninth and Tenth Amendments, especially in areas where they can see that we are losing our freedoms. These are all threats from within our country.

I believe that there is a very dangerous threat from outside of our borders, that is infiltrating our land – Islam. We need to wake up and see what the real issues are with this religion. If we would see that Islam is not a benevolent religion, and act accordingly, we will avert a lot of trouble.

I know that this is hard for us in the United States. After all, we are a “melting pot” of many peoples and faiths. We know that our ancestors from not many generations ago came to this country for a better life and we want to be accepting of everyone.

But Islam is an evil religion. It is not just a religion; it is a Muslim’s total way of life totally including their government. In most Islamic countries it is against the law to be anything else. All other faiths are persecuted.

We have been fed a lie by our president, the son of a devout Muslim. He would like us to think that Muslims are peaceful. Maybe the ones who have escaped their oppressive countries and come to the freedom of the United States are peaceful. But in the main, the Muslim world is an evil, oppressive world. Please get a copy of the Koran and read all of the places where Muhammad tells his followers to kill infidels. For Muslims there is only “them” – infidels, and “us”, the followers of Allah. Allah is NOT the God of the Bible by the way. Allah is hateful, vengeful, autocratic, and a persecutor of women and children. The Muslim religion is nothing like Christianity or Judaism.

Wafa Sultan is a remarkably brave woman who tells the truth about Islam. I highly recommend her book, A God Who Hates, published in 2009, by St. Martin’s Press in New York.

http://www.amazon.com/God-Who-Hates-Courageous-Inflamed/dp/0312538359/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1301069773&sr=1-1

Wafa was raised in Syria. She was educated as a doctor, a psychiatrist,  and practiced in Syria. She tells of the double standard in that country between how men were treated and how women were treated.

She grew to really want freedom for herself and her family, so she left and came to the United States. That was in 1988. She wanted to be a writer. and she wrote articles in Arabic for her former countrymen. She became quite popular and some years later was invited to be a speaker on  – “Al Jazeera”, the Arab TV network.

This historic television interview was aired on February 21, 2006. The host of the show told Wafa that they were interested in hearing her comments on the connection between Islamic teachings and terrorism.

Wafa says of this event, “Never in the history of Islam has a woman silenced a man’s clamor with her calmness or overcome his shouts by her ability to talk and convince.”  This was the first time in history that a woman defeated a Muslim male in a conversation. The preacher was angry and “raided” Wafa’s time reserved for her to give her final remarks on the show. He tried to steal the rest of the few minutes remaining on the show for himself.

Wafa tells of her historic response, which went around the world. “Time seemed too short and too precious for me to waste even a second of it, and I shouted at him: ‘Be quiet! It’s my turn!’ I uttered this sentence without realizing that it would open a new chapter in Arab and Muslim history. Never in the history of Islam has a woman clearly and forcefully asked a Muslim man to be quiet because it was her turn to speak. Women in Islamic custom and tradition don’t have a turn.. . . women in Islam don’t even possess their own selves, or the right to make their own decisions.” (pages 111-113 in her book.)
(You can find a short video of her defiant remarks to the Arab preacher who was a guest on the show, on the Internet. Highly recommended for anyone who believes in the cause of freedom.)

I have been posting stories of courageous women. Wafa is one of the most courageous. Since her outburst against the Muslim preacher, she has been threatened by many Muslims with death. In her book she warns us about the evils of Islam. We need to pay attention.

How can we, as Christian women respond to this?

First of all we can pray. Muslims are lost just like anyone else who denies the Lord Jesus Christ. We must witness to the truth to all of the Muslims who seem to be coming to this country.

As of the writing of her book, Wafa did not seem to want to put her faith in any god. Who can blame her? But I have been praying that Yahweh, the real God would touch her life with His love and she would find the peace and joy that comes only in knowing Christ.

Secondly, we need to educate ourselves as to the truth of Islam. It really is an evil religion and it has an evil founder, Muhammad. Here is just a sampling of what you will find if you read Wafa’s book or research that religion.

Muhammad knew that he needed to get the people to obey him and the all rulers in Islam absolutely. He said, “Whosoever obeys me obeys God, and he who obeys my emir obeys me. Whosoever disobeys me disobeys God, and he who disobeys my emir disobeys me.” I think that this is pretty plain. Like all false prophets, Muhammad is full of conceit.

But what kind of a ruler are the Muslim people following?

Muhammad called his followers to wage war on all those who are not Muslims. In the Koran is this verse, “Let those who would exchange the life of this world for the hereafter, fight for the cause of Allah.” If a Muslim wants to go to paradise “jihad is the only way to guarantee their entry to paradise in the hereafter.” No, the Muslim religion is NOT a peaceful religion.

Islam differs from other religions in that it not only threatens hell for nonbelievers; it also threatens death. People blindly follow Muhammad’s teachings because they fear the feeling of sword at their throat.

This great fear keeps people in subservience to their leaders. How many would at least question their rulers if they knew about the life of the man they are supposed to emulate? It is not wonder that Muslim men treat women and children as possessions to be used rather than human beings to be loved and cherished.

Consider this one story among many of Muhammad’s cruelty.

The Koran contains a “good example in Allah’s apostle” for marriage. “The Prophet contracted his marriage with Aisha when she was six years old and he was fifty. The marriage was consummated when she was nine.”

Not only is this ugly and criminal, but it has wider implications for Muslims. A child is only the property of her father and has no value of her own. Children in Muslim homes are taught to obey their fathers in fear.

Compare this to what our loving God of Christianity teaches us about children, “Behold, children are a gift of the Lord; the fruit of the womb is a reward.” (Psalm 127:3). Jesus said, “Let the children come to Me; do not hinder them; for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.” (Luke 18:16). Truly the Lord considers children to be special.  And the apostle Paul warns, “Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger; but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.” (Ephesians 6:4). This is clearly a loving and nurturing action.

I am thankful to God that He brought Wafa Sultan to our country. I pray that people will listen to her and understand the danger that Islam presents to our freedoms if we ever let it take hold here. We must be as bold as she is. We must not fall for the politically correct view of Islam. Islam is against freedom for everyone except the leaders.

True freedom is found only in Jesus Christ. Our country was founded on Christian principles and that is why we have been so free for so long. As we move away from God and the Bible, we give up our freedoms.

Wafa believes that the problems in the world are not a clash between religious cultures. She believes it is a “battle between modernity and barbarism”. I really admire and respect Wafa’s courage. I am thankful that she speaks out in spite of the threats against her life. However, I believe that the battle is indeed between God and those who hate Him. It is a religious battle, because Islam is a comprehensive religion. What Islam teaches, Islam is and does.

Guilty? Yes. No matter what the motive, love of ease, or a desire to save from suffering the unborn innocent, the woman is awfully guilty who commits the deed. It will burden her conscience in life; it will burden her soul in death. .
Susan B. Anthony

We have many freedoms that we take for granted as women today. No one thinks anything of women going to universities to pursue degrees in any area of life that they wish. Women vote, own property, go wherever they want, and actually do pretty much anything that men do including participate in the vices that were traditionally male habits such as smoking.

We would really scream and holler if we were denied any of these rights. But one hundred and fifty years ago there were restrictions on all of these activities for women. One person who gave her life to the cause of women’s suffrage was Susan Brownell Anthony.

Susan was born in South Adams, Massachusetts, on February 15, 1820. Her family was Quaker. She was home taught in her early years and then finished schooling at a Friends’ boarding school.

When she took a job as a substitute teacher for a male colleague and received only one fourth of the pay that he did, she realized that women were suffering great wrongs. She quit teaching and became active instead in trying to right those wrongs.
There are many interesting biographies of Susan B. Anthony. Here are just a few things that she achieved:

1. She began to fight for women’s suffrage in the early 1850’s. When she was refused admittance to a temperance convention because she was a woman, she organized the Women’s New York State Temperance Society. Thanks to her tireless efforts women began to be admitted to other conventions with the right to speak, vote, and serve on committees. They were beginning to be admitted to educational institutions as well.

2. Susan began to challenge the New York state legislature to pass laws giving the right to women to own property. She also fought for and won the right for married women to keep possession of their earnings and have the guardianship of their children. We cannot imagine that these things were the norm for women 150 years ago.

3.  In 1872, in an attempt to claim that the constitution already permitted women to vote, Susan B. Anthony cast a test vote in Rochester, New York, in the presidential election. She was found guilty, though she refused to pay the resulting fine (and the order was never enforced).

4. She continued to fight on for the rest of her life. For many years she averaged over 100 lectures annually. She helped out in the campaigns for the enfranchisement of women in eight different states. After 1869, Congress granted her the right to appear and speak before committee hearings almost every year.

5.  While the right to life for unborn babies is not the main thing that people remember Susan B. Anthony for, she understood that fighting for the rights of women included those same rights for unborn women.

Those of us, including yours truly, have much to thank the women who bravely went before us. We take education, writing, equal employment, and all of the other constitutional rights for granted. But we did not have them at one time. We can’t help but admire the courage of Susan B. Anthony. Imagine what it must have been like for Susan to try and get the attention of people in her society in a day when it was truly a “male” world.

In looking at the things that Susan fought for in the late 1800’s, modern women would not consider her an extreme feminist. We believe that the privileges that women enjoy now are only right. How was Susan B. Anthony a feminist?

Today there are many who shudder as soon as they hear the word “feminist”. I understand that, but I would urge readers to think about what the word really means. If it only means that women would like to be treated with the dignity that they were given at creation, then it is a positive description. Femininity includes all of the things that define a woman, including the fact that she is an image-bearer of God. Truly feminine women understand their role in the world that God has given them.

Unfortunately, a counterfeit image of “feminism” for women has emerged. These rebellious, obnoxious, selfish women have stolen the term for themselves, but there is truly nothing “feminine” about them. They are far removed from the true nobility of women – the privilege of being able to give life, not take it.

In the years since Susan B. Anthony fought for women’s suffrage, “abortion rights” have become synonymous with women’s rights. For some reason women have been told that they are not truly free unless they have the right to do away with their unborn children. This seems to be the defining issue. But, is the ability to end someone else’s life what truly makes a woman free? Does killing a helpless, unborn baby make a woman “feminine”? I think not.

Susan’s friend and co-worker, Elizabeth Cady Stanton said, “When we consider that women are treated as property, it is degrading to women that we should treat our children as property to be disposed of as we see fit.”  Apparently these early pioneers for women’s rights could see how hypocritical it is for women to demand their “rights” but deny them to unborn women. Elizabeth Stanton referred to abortion as “infanticide”. That is truly what it is. It is not just a “pregnancy that didn’t work,” as a congresswoman recently said.

This is really one of the biggest lies that Satan has ever put over on women.
In 1869, when Susan B. Anthony wrote the quote at the beginning of this post, it was plainly known that abortion was wrong, even though, at that time, women had fewer options for making a living and supporting themselves. In the years when women could not easily get an education, or control their own money or lives, the decision to keep an unplanned baby was very much more difficult than in today’s welfare society. As tough as the decision was, the feminists of the nineteenth century believed that abortion was wrong. Though Susan gave her whole life to gaining equal rights for women, she would probably be rejected by today’s “feminists” simply because she would reject their abortion agenda.

Susan B. Anthony had an opportunity to marry a fine man, but chose instead to devote her life to righting the wrongs against women. She often stood alone. It is wonderful what one woman can do when she acts on the courage of her convictions. I am sitting here, enfranchised, college educated, and able to write a story on my own computer because of women like her. I am thankful for all of the privileges that I have.

The effective prayer of a righteous man  (or woman) can accomplish much.”
James 5:16

At this time in our country when it seems that things are getting worse and worse and we don’t know how to turn the tide, let us remember that God is still on His throne. We can pray for His forgiveness and mercy as individuals and we can encourage our friends and families to pray as a nation for God to forgive us. We have been neglectful of the poor and needy in our society. I know that I have been selfish and spent most of my time pursuing my own interests. I believe that as the church has stopped following the example of Jesus as He ministered to the needs of others, we have been guilty of bringing God’s anger on ourselves. I believe that we would not be losing our freedoms right now if we had been praying for and electing good leaders. We don’t have them because we haven’t been vigilant. We only care about who’s going to win the big game this weekend. Oppression and abuse are going on all around us and we don’t care. God is trying to wake us up with things like the visual rape machines at the airports. We must do something now. We must start by getting down on our knees and praying.

One special woman in history shows us a good example of how we ought to pray.

Many have heard the story of the miraculous conversion of St. Augustine. By all accounts he was a very hard-hearted and profligate man. Had we known him when he was a young man, we probably would have said that there was no hope of his ever turning to God. But his loving mother believed that God could save him. She never gave up during many long years, praying for his salvation with earnestness and tears.

MONICA, the mother of St. Augustine, was born in 332.  She was raised to be a pious and devout Christian. When she was old enough to marry, she was given to a man named Patritius, who was a pagan. She at once devoted herself to his conversion. She spent her life always praying for him. She was rewarded for her efforts when he became a Christian and was baptized only a year before his death.

Of course we know that Monica was also devoted to prayer for her son Augustine, who led a very irreligious life. He especially struggled with the sin of lust, preferring to have mistresses rather than get married.

Monica tried to get a learned Christian bishop to talk to her son in order to teach him the right way to live, but the bishop declined. He knew Augustine well and he didn’t think he could have any success with a man who was so headstrong.

However, on witnessing Monica’s prayers and tears, he told her to be of good courage; for it might be that God would spare the child of those tears. And so Monica devoted every day of her life to entreating God for her son.

One day, when Augustine went to Italy, he thought he was getting away from his mother’s constant well-meaning encouragements. But he could not escape from her prayers, which God heard and was ready to answer.

Monica followed him to Italy, and there Augustine was marvelously converted. Monica’s sorrow was turned into joy.

At a town called Ostia, on their homeward journey, as Augustine and his mother sat at a window talking about the Christian life, she turned to him and said, “My son, for my part I find no further pleasure in this life. What I am still to do or why I am here in the world, I do not know, for I have no more to hope for on this earth. There was one reason, and one alone, why I wished to remain a little longer in this life, and that was to see you a Christian before I died. God has granted my wish and more besides, for I now see you as his servant, spurning such happiness as the world can give. What is left for me to do in this world?”

A few days afterwards, she had an attack of fever, and died in the year 387. She was 56 years old. She had lived long enough to see the answer to her prayers for both her son and her husband.

Upon reflecting on this, we remember that It is impossible to set any bounds to what persevering prayer may do. Augustine’s soul seemed bound for hell due to his heresy and impurity, both of which were very strong because of his many years of practicing sin. These chains were broken when God graciously answered his mother’s prayers. Monica is a wonderful example to us of a devout, persevering, praying, Christian mother.

But that is just one person, you say. What about our nation? What about all of the millions of people who have strayed from obeying God?

Remember the story of Jonah and Nineveh, the capitol of Assyria. The Assyrians were hated enemies of the Israelites. They were a wicked and cruel people. Who would have ever thought that they would repent? But they did. The whole city of Nineveh repented. The king of Assyria came down from his throne, put off his royal robes, and sat in sackcloth and ashes. He ordered everyone else to do the same. That would be like our president getting down on his knees and repenting and asking our whole country to follow suit. Not possible you say? Why? This is still a Christian country. We have had National Prayer Days before. If you think we can’t now, then what is that saying about how far we have strayed from God?

We can still pray that God would cause the people in our country to turn back to Him. I believe that we need to do this. Not just to get our freedoms back. That would be nice. But God is our Creator and He deserves our worship and allegiance. No nation can go on shaking its fist in God’s face and not expect to be judged for it. We are experiencing that now. It does not have to be.

Elsewhere on this Blog, we have stories of remarkable women who have stood up for what is right in the face of strong opposition. Jennifer Keeton is trying to maintain her beliefs and her constitutional rights against the courts, the university system, and the American Counseling Association. A generation ago she would not have had to struggle with this. Our country has changed so much in just a few decades that now the “powers that be” think it is all right to shove God andword to the side in favor of their own agenda. We were warned by many faithful witnesses in the past that if we did not stand up and proclaim God’s truth fearlessly we would find ourselves in this situation. (See my posting on Sophie Scholl.)

That the courts can now force a young woman to attend a “gay pride parade” which she would find offensive just shows how far the enemies of Christianity are able to go. Apparently it’s all right to make Christians do things which are offensive to them. When will the church wake up and see what is happening and take a strong stand?

If the church ignores these events, Christians will only have themselves to blame when they finally loses all freedoms.

I have posted below the entire article which I received from LifeSiteNews. I would encourage everyone to read it to see just how dangerous it will be for Christians if this young woman loses her case. Pay particular attention to the highlighted areas. Ask yourself, “How did we get here? Why do the secular organizations like the ACA have enough power to shut Christians up? Why do they get to have an opinion and make judgments, but Christians don’t?”  Notice that even though it is not all right for Ms. Keeton to have an opinion, they get to have one. Notice that they refer to counseling as a “judgement(sic)-free zone”, but they have already made a judgment of their own. And their judgment is that unless your opinion lines up with theirs, you are not entitled to it!

Remember: Sophie Scholl warned us, “If you don’t make noise, the bogeyman won’t find you. But it’s all an illusion.” Yes, they will find you. Yes, you will keep on losing more and more of your freedoms. Let’s not let this happen.

Judge Denies Christian Counselling Student’s Request for Injunction

By James Tillman

AUGUSTA, Georgia, August 24, 2010 (LifeSiteNews.com) — On Friday, a federal judge denied student Jennifer Keeton’s request for an injunction prohibiting Augusta State University from expelling her while her case is being decided, if she does not attend “diversity sensitivity training” on homosexuality.

Attorneys with the Alliance Defense Fund (ADF), a Christian legal organization representing Keeton, appealed District Judge J. Randal Hall’s decision to the United States Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit on Monday.

Keeton, 24, is pursuing a master’s degree in counseling at ASU.  According to ADF lawyers, after her professors learned of her biblical beliefs regarding homosexual conduct, they imposed a mandatory re-education plan on her.

She was told to attend workshops to improve her sensitivity towards homosexuals, to complete remedial reading, and to write papers describing the impact of such measures on her beliefs.

Professors also suggested that she increase her exposure and interaction with the “gay community” by doing things such as attending a gay pride parade.

In an ADF video, Keeton said that “while I want to stay in the school counseling program, I know that I can’t honestly complete the remediation plan knowing that I would have to alter my beliefs.”

Attorneys with the ADF brought a case against the school alleging that the school had violated Keeton’s 1st Amendment rights by engaging in unconstitutional viewpoint discrimination.

ADF lawyers had requested an injunction preventing Keeton’s expulsion while the case proceeded.  Judge Hall ruled that although Keeton “may ultimately prevail in this case, the current record reveals that she has failed to clearly establish her high burden of persuasion of a ‘substantial likelihood’ of success on the merits of her case.”

Hall also stated that the remedial plan was apparently imposed not because of Keeton’s beliefs, but because she exhibited “an inability to counsel in a professionally ethical manner – that is, an inability to resist imposing her moral viewpoint on counselees – in violation of the ACA [American Counseling Association] Code of Ethics.”

The ACA Code of Ethics states that counselors are to “avoid imposing values that are inconsistent with counseling goals.”

According to Judge Hall, the faculty had not asked Keeton to change her beliefs, and had made clear “that it was not [the] Plaintiff’s personal beliefs that were their concern, but rather only her inability to separate her personal beliefs in the judgement-free zone of a professional counseling situation.”

For this reason he said that the defendants’ reasons for “imposing the Remediation Plan appear to be, on the evidence presented, academically legitimate, rather than a mere pretext to retaliate against her for expressing her beliefs.”

Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.” (James 1:12)

There was a time in the history of the church when unbelievers had the power to rid themselves of Christians with little pretext other than the fact that they believed in Christ. Blandina lived during just such a time. The early church martyrs were purposefully tortured and killed in order to make a statement by the Roman government that worship of anyone else other than Caesar would not be tolerated.

We have heard many stories about the Christians being thrown to wild beasts just to entertain the Roman populace. Often, Christians who were Roman citizens would have the easier execution of beheading. But the slaves who were Christians suffered horrible torture and gory death in the amphitheaters to amuse the Roman crowds.

Blandina (martyred in 177 AD) was a slave woman who had been taken into custody with her master who was also a Christian. She was not in very good health and not expected to survive torture, but she seemed to get stronger and stronger the more the executioners beat and abused her. She would simply repeat, “I am a Christian,” over and over. This infuriated her torturers and they whipped her until they were tired out. Finally, they decided to take her to the amphitheater where other Christians were being beaten and burned. She was hung on a stake and put out for the wild beasts, but they would not touch her. And so,

“. . at length she was put in a net, and thrown to the wild bull; and when she had been sufficiently gored and wounded with the horns of the beast, and heeded nothing of all that chanced to her, for the great hope and consolation she had in Christ and heavenly things, was thus slain, insomuch that there was never woman put to death, that suffered so much as this woman did. Neither yet was their furious cruelty thus assuaged against the Christians.” The heathens invented crueler and more wicked things to do to the believers. The persecutors did not bury their bodies, but burned them and threw the ashes into the river thinking that they would be forgotten. “And this they did as if they had been able to have pulled God out of His seat, and to have hindered the regeneration of the saints, and taken from them the hope of the resurrection.” (John Foxe’s, The Acts and Monuments of the Church, page 42)

Others who watched her courageous death were blessed by her testimony and their own faith was bolstered. Even another woman, Biblias, who had renounced her faith, renewed her commitment to Christ and is listed among the roll of the martyrs.

Eusebius, writing several centuries later tells us of the results. Blandina, “by her continuous prayer gave great zeal to the combatants, while they looked on during the contest, and with their outward eyes saw in the form of their sister Him who was crucified for them, to persuade those who believe on Him that all who suffer for the glory of Christ have forever fellowship with the living God. And so she too was sacrificed, and the heathen themselves confessed that never before among them had a woman suffered so much and so long.” (Eusebius, Ecclesiastical History)

And so, Blandina’s acts of courage affected many more people than herself. Faith in God and His promises is our chief mainstay for the courage we have. Her concern was Christ and Christ only. God used her martyrdom, and those of many other saints, to encourage and build His church.

I pray that we will never have to suffer as Blandina did. But, do we even have enough courage to stand up for Christ against the political correctness of our day? We are still blessed with some freedom of speech in our country. Are we too frightened of what others may think of us to speak out boldly for Christ? I fear that if the church does not begin to take a stand against the wickedness and sin that is rampant in our country now, we will suffer at least imprisonment and maybe death for “breaking the law” of the unbelievers who will not tolerate any other god than their own god, the state.

Faith

For by it the people of old received their commendation.” (Hebrews 11:2)

Many graces have been displayed by God’s saints over the years – faithfulness, courage, self-denial, mercy, and obedience. But one characteristic is necessary for all of the others to be displayed – faith.
These graces are not given to us just for our own glory. They are for God’s glory. He is honored when His saints are honored. Jesus Christ will be admired in His saints. So, we must be careful in how we live our lives because Christ’s reputation is at stake.

One who did deny herself to the point of being willing to lose her life was Ahn Ei Sook. (Now she is Mrs. Esther Ahn Kim.) The glory of God was her first and primary goal. She lived in a dangerous time when she was called on to do just that. But what about you and I? Are we called on to sacrifice? Let’s get this into perspective for our times.

Imagine that you are at the monthly church business meeting. Your pastor is there. All of the members of the church board are there. You have gotten through most of the items on the agenda. Things are going along pretty smoothly. Most of the items are routine and not cause for any concern.
Now, the pastor shuffles his papers and somewhat nervously says, “Well, everybody, we have received an application for the new church organist. I know this man and he is openly gay. He is a terrific musician and he says he loves the Lord and would like to serve by using his gift. What do you all say”
Everyone seems to be nodding their heads in agreement, but you say, “I don’t believe that we should hire him. Homosexuality is against God’s law. What will we be saying to the congregation if we put this man in a leadership position?”

Are you feeling uncomfortable right now? Are you thinking of excuses for why you would never say such a thing? Are you thinking that you should not go against the advice of the pastor and the others? I would like to suggest that if you are, you have bought into the political correctness that has been forced on our society for many years now. I would also hope that you would be examining your beliefs in God, in His Word, and in how much faith you really have in His Truth. What is truth, and are you willing to defend it?

Ahn Ei Sook, a Korean woman living through the terrible times that the Japanese occupied Korea in the 1930’s and through 1945, did take a stand for God’s truth. She stood all alone despite certain arrest, imprisonment, and possible execution.

We have read much about the brutality of the Germans against the French During World War II, and of the Japanese against the Chinese, but we do not have many accounts of what the Japanese did to the Koreans.

During their war with China in the 1930’s, the Japanese realized the importance of Korea as a geographical link. They conquered Korea, and began to completely subjugate the country, forcing the Koreans to support their armies. They also tried to force their Japanese culture on the Koreans. Everyone was forced to speak Japanese. They were forced to give their children Japanese names. One of the many things that became obligatory for the Koreans was to worship at the Shinto shrines. Each shrine contained a picture of the Japanese emperor and a picture of the Japanese sun goddess.

Korean Christians had to make a choice. Refusal to obey would result in arrest, harassment, and financial hardship for the families, because they would be outcasts. Some Christians saw the act of bowing as a sign of respect for the Emperor and merely a political expedient. But many Christians, like Ahn Ei Sook, would not bow to the shrine. Not only was the sun goddess an idol, but by the late 1930’s the emperor had become a divine being to the Japanese. To bow to him would be bowing to another god. Ahn Ei Sook would not compromise. Jesus had said, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except by Me.” She would follow only Christ.

The Japanese especially targeted the leaders of the Korean culture for persecution if they did not obey. In 1939, when Ahn was a teacher at a Christian school, the command came for her school to attend a rally of schools at one of the shrines in the city of Seoul. She didn’t really want to go, but she was pressured by the principal. The principal was a Christian, but she was frightened about the trouble that the Japanese would make for the school. She was more afraid of men than of God.

On the way to the shrine Ahn prayed that God would save her as He did Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. She would refuse to serve other gods as they did. She knew however, that God might not save her, even if she did what was right. Still, she would trust in His will. She prayed for strength from God and lined up with the other teachers and students. The Japanese official called out, “Attention! Our profoundest bow to Amaterasu Omikami [the sun goddess]!”

In unison the whole crowd bent over in a deep bow. All except one. There was Ahn, standing up all alone, looking straight up at the sky. Walking away from the shrine later, she thought, “I am dead.” But she had peace and joy inside, knowing that she remained true to Christ.

There were many Christians in the throng who bowed to the idols in the shrine that day. Only Ahn bravely followed Christ alone. She was arrested, imprisoned, and tortured for six years. (For her entire story of courage and faith, I highly recommend her book, If I Perish, published by MoodyPress) By her testimony, she won many to Christ.

And what about you? Are you willing to be the lone voice at the church board meeting defending God’s truth? What have you got to lose? I would like to say that right now, all you would lose is face. Maybe, you might feel like changing churches. We are not in a place in our country yet where you will be arrested and go to jail. However, if we as Christians don’t stand for the truth now, we may find ourselves in that place. The churches in Korea and Germany capitulated to the government during WWII. Are our churches capitulating to our government now?

Examine your heart. Do you have the courage to speak the truth in love in front of others?  If you are uncomfortable speaking God’s truth at church, how do you expect to witness about Christ to others in the world? Will you encourage your church to be a light on the hill? Will we put God’s glory first?
